There is a movement on at the moment to get American companies to stop over charging Europe. An excellent report was written on Adobe's unfair pricing scheme, and the focus is currently on them, to start the ball rolling towards a more fair world market. The cost inflation is so extremely high in Europe [but also in globally like in Australia], that some people are now flying to the USA JUST to buy their software! This not only pollutes the planet, but it is also promoting unfair US international competition by offering in-country discount-favoritism.
